Morus alba issai
Also known as: Dwarf White Mulberry
Morus alba ‘Issai’ (Dwarf Mulberry) Produces delicious sweet juicy fruit, that you can eat right off the tree. The berries are similar in size and shape to blackberries. Mulberries are easy to grow and fast growing and will bear fruit the once plant is establish. Plant them in full sun and best in southern exposure. You must bear in mind that the birds love the fruit as well, so netting may be needed to keep the birds away.
When available starter line plants will need to be grown out in a container until plant becomes establish before planting into the garden.
