Mid to Late Spring Roadsides can be filled with the dancing yellow flowers of this Perennial which grows from 8 to 30 inches inch. Several Leafy Stems with 1 or more long stalked flowers heads arise from a hardened base. Leaves will be 1½ inches to 8 inches long and linear to narrow. Lower leaves may have stalks that are nearly 4 inches in length. Tubular yellow disk flowers are borne in compact ½ inch to ¾ inch heads surrounded by yellow ray flowers that are notched at the apex. Grows well in sand hills.
