Salvia microphylla ‘Hot Lips’
Two-tone red & white, tough, multi-branch perennial that tends to become woody the older it gets. Growing 3 foot tall and wide in full sun or part shade, drought tolerant once establishes. Good garden soil or sandy loam, humus and lime are helpful. The plant produces flowers its first year and grows rapidly, attaining full size in its second year.
