Salvia madrensis 'Forsythia'
Soft color of butter yellow, with rough textured, heart shaped spinach like green leaves, with square stems. Blooms in late summer, early autumn until first frost. Likes sandy loam soil with weekly deep watering and top dress with lime. Within a few years plant will multiply by spreading root stock and may be divided easily.
A butterfly and hummingbird magnet!
